We are looking for a talented and motivated BIM Modeler to join our dynamic team.
Job Description
As a BIM Modeler at Jaspers-Eyers Architects, you will be an integral part of our design team, responsible for creating and maintaining detailed 3D models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure that all design and construction details are accurately represented in the models, enabling efficient collaboration and smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain BIM models for architectural projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate design elements into the BIM model, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Support project teams by providing technical expertise in BIM processes, standards, and tools.
Assist in the preparation of 2D drawings, reports, and presentations based on the BIM model.
Coordinate with various disciplines (structural, MEP, etc.) to ensure model interoperability and clash detection.
Maintain and update the BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to construction.
Troubleshoot and resolve BIM-related issues, offering solutions to improve workflow and productivity.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM practices and workflows within the office.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a BIM Modeler, preferably within an architectural or engineering firm.
Strong proficiency in BIM software (Revit) and familiarity with other design and modeling tools.
Solid understanding of architectural and construction processes, including design documentation.
Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices.
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Fluent in Dutch (Office Hasselt, Leuven) or French (Office Leuven or Brussels) or English (office Brussels or Leuven).
