AP University College - Campus Hallenplein
Campus Hallenplein transforms industrial heritage into a future-ready academic space.
The newly completed Campus Hallenplein of AP Hogeschool is a state-of-the-art educational hub designed for over 3,500 students in STEM disciplines. Located near Park Spoor Noord, this modern campus blends sustainability with high-tech infrastructure to foster a dynamic learning environment.
A standout feature of the project is the transformation of one of Antwerp’s last remaining slaughterhouse halls into a vibrant space. Spanning 22,000 m² and built to be nearly energy-neutral, Campus Hallenplein is now a cornerstone of the green zone created by the Ring Road canopy—offering students a unique blend of heritage, innovation, and sustainability.
